Liam Payne: 'I'm not leaving One Direction'
One Direction star Liam Payne has assured fans he has no plans to leave the boyband amid rumours he is planning to quit.
Fans of the hit pop group were thrown into turmoil over the weekend after editors of a tabloid published a story suggesting Payne had grown tired of fame and had decided to step out of the spotlight to spend more time with his family and his girlfriend, Danielle Peazer.
However, Payne has now reached out to his supporters and assured them the claims are not true.
In a post on Twitter.com, he writes, "Thought I'd let you know this latest story is bulls**t I love you guys so much I love this band they're my best mates I ain't goin (sic) now werrr (nowhere)."

Thank you Shaun. Honestly all these ypoung manuactured bands really get to me. They are not musicians and are indistinguishable from each other. They all seem to have inflated egos and i so wish all the wee girlies wouldn't sream at them in adoration! Anyway, back to sleep for me Shaun x
