Lindsay Lohan's bank accounts seized

Lindsay Lohan's bank accounts have been seized by U.S. federal officials to pay the troubled actress' tax bill, according to a new report.

The Mean Girls star is said to owe the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) more than £146,190 stemming from 2009 through 2011.

A spokesperson insisted earlier this year Lohan was "completely unaware" of tax liens filed against her, and revealed the 26 year old was taking measures to get her finances in order.

However, IRS authorities have now frozen Lohan's personal accounts as she has not yet settled her outstanding debts, according to TMZ.com.

Lohan has yet to respond to the report, which comes just days after she was arrested for allegedly fighting with a woman at a New York City nightclub.
