Lindsay Lohan's Reality Show: First Look

A clip has been released to give fans a glimpse of the new Lindsay Lohan docu-series which starts this weekend.

The eight-part show follows the Mean Girls actress on her road to recovery after a rocky few years and treatment in rehabilitation.

The former Disney star has been under some form of probation since 2007 and her court troubles have over-shadowed her once promising career.

The self-titled series will air on Oprah Winfrey's OWN network in the US on Sunday March 9.

The network describes it as an "honest, no-holds-barred account, viewers will see an intimate, unflinching look" at the movie star.

In the trailer the actress says she does not feel the need to drink alcohol or party anymore and speaks of how the press attention leaves her feeling like a "prisoner".

The first episode sees Lohan, 27, move to New York, with her new personal assistant and sober coach, to begin apartment hunting.

On Tuesday Winfrey tweeted the star to say: "@lindsaylohan are you ready for the world to see what Recovery looks like?"
