Long Island Body Parts Belong To Mother Of Four
Body parts found across Long Island belong to a Brooklyn woman reported missing earlier this month, police have said.
The parts, including severed arms, were discovered over three weeks in the Bay Shore and Hempstead areas of Long Island.
Police now say they belong to Chinelle Latoya Browne, a 27-year-old mother of four who had been reported missing by her sister on July 5.
Suffolk County police have arrested a neighbour of the victim, Leah Cuevas, and charged her with murder.
Cuevas lives in the same building as Ms Browne, though police did not immediately give a motive for the alleged murder.
Media reports said Ms Browne was a Guyanese native who had lived in New York for about a year.
Her husband, Dale Browne, told the Daily News from his home in Guyana that she worked at a department store in Manhattan.
