Louie Anderson's Splash session mishap
Comedian Louie Anderson had to be pulled from a swimming pool last week when a practice session for TV talent show Splash went awry.
The funnyman is among the stars taking part in the U.S. version of the diving competition, and he has been busy rehearsing ahead of the show's March launch.
However, a practice session went wrong last Wednesday when he dived into the pool but was too tired to heave himself out again, according to TMZ.com.
Editors at the website report Anderson had to be rescued by his diving trainer and a fellow competitor, football star Ndamukong Suh.
A representative for the comedian insists the star is still enjoying the contest, saying "(He is) feeling great, loving the challenge."
The U.S. programme is due to premiere in America on 19 March.
