Louis Tomlinson stays at girlfriend's student house

One Direction star Louis Tomlinson relishes the simple life when he has time off from touring as he swaps fancy five-star hotels for his girlfriend's student house.

The teen sensations are currently riding high in the charts around the globe thanks to a promotional trek which saw them take the U.S., Europe, and Australia by storm in just a few weeks.

They have been given 10 days off by mentor Simon Cowell, and rather than enjoy a luxury trip, Tomlinson is happy getting back to basics at the shabby student property his girlfriend Eleanor Calder shares with classmates in Manchester.

He tells The Sun, "Eleanor's really down to earth. She makes me fish finger (fish stick) sandwiches and it's great to do something normal after the madness of the tour.

"All my mates are at university, and it's a life I haven't had a chance to enjoy, so it's great to turn up and sample a bit of it."
