Malin Akerman suffers nasty burn

Pregnant actress Malin Akerman is nursing a nasty burn on her hand after scalding herself with boiling water.

The Watchmen star, who is due to give birth to her first child in April, spilled a pot of hot water on herself on Wednesday and shared the drama with her Twitter.com followers.

Uploading a photograph of her bandaged hand to her page on the site, she revealed, "2nd degree burn! Accidentally poured a pot of boiling water on my hand today!"

Akerman isn't the only star to suffer a burn recently - Australian singer Delta Goodrem cut short a concert in Sydney last Friday after scalding her legs in a bizarre accident involving a voice steamer.
