Man Charged With NI Prison Officer Murder
A 36-year-old man has been charged in connection with the murder of prison officer David Black.
Mr Black, 52, was shot as he drove to work on a motorway in Co Armagh on November 1.
Dissident republicans claimed responsibility.
A spokeswoman for the PSNI said the suspect, who was detained in the Co Tyrone area, had been charged with terrorism offences.
He is expected to appear at Lisburn Magistrates' Court later.
Mr Black, a father of two, worked at the high-security Maghaberry jail in Co Antrim.
He was the first prison officer to be murdered in Northern Ireland for 20 years.
