Man Goes Missing From Mental Health Unit
A man who needs regular medication to control his behaviour has gone missing from a secure mental health unit - and may have a knife, police say.
Marvin Walters was last seen at around 11.50am, before disappearing from the mental health unit in Lewisham, south east London.
Metropolitan Police say the 28-year-old was detained under the Mental Health Act on January 31, and must be considered a risk to the public without regular medication to control his behaviour.
He is described as black, 5ft 8ins to 6ft tall, of medium build, with short afro hair. He was last seen wearing a black hooded top, a long white jumper suit or overalls and dark trainers.
Members of the public are advised not to approach him but to call 999 immediately if they see him.
For other information about Mr Walters' whereabouts the public is asked to contact Lewisham CID on 07788 916 864.
