Man Locked Up For 'Horrifying' Child Abuse

A child abuser who drugged and raped three under-11s and forced them to sexually abuse each other while he watched has been jailed indefinitely.
Darren Mackrell, 45, subjected two boys aged eight and 10 and a nine-year-old girl to "an appalling and disgusting" six-hour ordeal at his flat in Southampton, Hampshire.
The judge told Mackrell he had "plumbed the depths of human depravity", deserved no mercy, and would spend at least 10 years in jail before he could even apply for parole.
He was warned he may never be released if he poses a danger to children, and was put on the sex offenders register for life.
The drug addict forced the children to strip naked, smoke cannabis and take amphetamine, temazepam and viagra. He raped all three and forced them to engage in sexual activity with him and each other.
He also played hardcore pornographic films on the television and threatened to hurt the youngsters when they tried to leave - even showing one boy a large hunting knife.
The abuse only ended when a mother managed to track her son down to Mackrell's flat and when she did not get a reply she called the police.
An officer saw the pornographic video playing on the television through the letterbox and he tried to break in as the mother "freaked out".
Eventually one of the boys opened the door and the three children fled and Mackrell was arrested. Two ran straight home and one boy stayed outside the flat with his mother.
The children have been left traumatised by what Mackrell did to them, with the girl unable to tell anyone what happened and another boy self-harming and writing suicide notes, the court heard.
The three, who cannot be named for legal reasons, went to his home after Mackrell got to know one of the boys at a nearby park.
Mackrell admitted 18 charges of raping the three youngsters, sexually assaulting them, causing them to engage in sexual activity, forcing them to watch a sexual act and administering drugs on April 21 this year.
Judge Gary Burrell QC said: "There is no room for mercy, Darren Mackrell, in a case as horrifying as this. What you did to these children was truly dreadful. You provided a reality to every parent's nightmare."
what do you think?

I feel sick, this man has turned me to tears, prison is to good for this man, death penalty is the only way to go for people like this.

Sue Hovell
Castration using the two bricks method without anaesthetic, then and only then, publicly hang him so those children know they are safe from him forever.

Steven James Foulds
Death would be too quick a release for filth like this. If its any consolation, I can tell you his time inside is likely to be brutal, even on a VP's wing/unit. The ordinary cons hate sex cases, and will find a way to get at him, never fear. The only fear is he'll top himself before he's had what he deserves.

guillotine, this man is a waste of space. why spend money trying to sort him out. sickening crime

Why on earth would they have willingly gone into his flat?

Lucy Fur Harvey
Because children are niave! Does it matter if they were lured or dragged. hes a monster! I hope he has what he deserves in jail!.

If the mum managed to track him down, it may mean that he was known to at least one of the children.

Death penalty! This man has destroyed three innocent children's lives. He has forfeited his human rights and does not deserve to live in society with decent human beings. Those children will never be the same, but he will never change. Wrong... So wrong!!!

Why do. bar stewards like this still be allowed to inhabit this earth .. He should be hung .

Julie Crumpton
I don't think he is ever going to be released, I know it says 10yrs, that's until he's eligible for parole....who, in their right mind would think him eligible? My guess is he will be "sorted" way before then....they could never grant parole, purely because the likelihood of re offending is high

Emma Allum
Yeah, and they'll have to take into consideration the fact that he'll only be mid- fifties by then - still well capable of committing atrocities again. Lets hope they make the right decision and never release him.

Sorry but life must mean life. This thing must never ever be allowed on the streets again.

HANG HIM HIGH DIRTY ANIMAL

Hope the dog rots in hell

Too right this piece of filth should be hung! The only possible reason they're released earlier could well be because of prisons running out of room! If we had the Death Penalty in this country, there wouldn't be the controversy surrounding where the Government build more prisons to house these nut jobs! Saying this though, such punishment would have to be used VERY carefully, and we'd have to opt out of the crass EU charter on Human Rights, which is systematically being abused by criminals and their Defense Attorneys! There is NO WAY this would be allowed by any of the 3 main political Parties because of the influence from Brussels! I would have thought that the fact that they would have been targeted by other prisoners been deterrent enough, but then they are too stupid and arrogant to realize this anyway! God bless those poor children too who'll be blighted by this now! Enough said!
