Mark Wright heading back to TOWIE

Fans of The Only Way Is Essex are set for a Christmas treat - Mark Wright is returning for a festive cameo.

The Lothario quit the show last year to take part in I'm a Celebrity...Get Me Out of Here!, and came runner-up to McFly star Dougie Poynter.

Wright has enjoyed fame away from the show, but now he's returning to the series which made him a household name.

And he hopes his appearance will boost the spirits of pal James Argent, who will be spending his first Christmas without former girlfriend Lydia Bright.

Wright tells The Sun, "Arg is a bit down right now, so I'm doing this for him. I know how excited he will be.

"It should be great fun and I'm looking forward to catching up with old friends."
