Mel & Gino reunite for Christmas countdown

Melanie Sykes and Gino D'acampo are teaming up once again for a new TV show which will help fans get ready for the festive period.

The pair was a lunchtime hit for ITV with their chat-filled cookery show, and now they are reuniting for Let's Do Christmas...With Gino and Mel.

The bubbly duo will interview a celebrity guest while Gino rustles up some traditional treats including turkey, lobster and pork and pistachio terrine in the weeks before Christmas Day.

Sykes says, "I am so thrilled that Gino and I are back on ITV especially for the countdown to Christmas! It's such a great time of year and I'm looking forward to lots of festive fun and getting clever tips from Gino on how I can make my own perfect Christmas feast!"

D'Acampo adds, "The Christmas meal is one of the most special meals of the entire year but it doesn't have to be stressful. I've got lots of tips to help you join in all the fun but still be the kings and queens of the kitchen! I am really looking forward to cooking up all these tasty Christmas dishes."

The series will kick off on 10 December.
