Mellor wants I'm A Celeb stint

Actor Will Mellor is keen to get down and dirty in the jungle on the next series of I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here!.

The Two Pints of Lager And a Packet of Crisps star has revealed the hit ITV series is his favourite reality show, and he tunes in every year to watch a host of celebs set up camp in the Australian rainforest.

And despite the creepy-crawlies and the tough tasks, Mellor insists he'd love to star in the show's next run - but worries how his appearance could affect his acting career.

He tells the Press Association, "I'm a Celebrity is my favourite reality show and I've really enjoyed the most recent one.

"Every year I say I'd love to do it, which makes my wife laugh because she says I'm rubbish with everything. I hate spiders and camping and stuff like that. Maybe one day.

"The thing that really worries me is I'm not sure how it'd affect my career. I wouldn't want to go on it and get known as a celebrity, and then that ruin my acting work. I'm not sure my agent would be very pleased if I said I was going to do the next one, either!"
