Michael Jace Pleads Not Guilty To Wife's Murder
Actor Michael Jace has pleaded not guilty to a murder charge following the fatal shooting of his wife.
The star, who played police officer Julien Lowe in the television series The Shield, entered the plea in a Los Angeles court.
Bail was set at $2m (£1.2m), and Jace was ordered not to have any contact with his two children.
Police say Jace, 51, shot his wife, April, a number of times in the family's home in the Hyde Park neighbourhood on May 19.
The couple's two young children were in the house at the time.
Jace called 911 after the shooting.
Officers have not revealed a motive for the killing and Jace's lawyers have said the case is still in its early stages and their investigation is ongoing.
Mrs Jace's family called her death a senseless act of domestic violence.
