Michael McIntyre injured on stage

Michael Mcintyre injured his leg when a stunt went wrong during a show in Ireland earlier this week but he managed to finish the gig by hobbling around on crutches.
The funnyman was imitating goalkeeper Joe Hart during a skit at the Cork Opera House, but he hurt himself and was seen clutching his leg in agony.
He returned to finish his set after an interval, stunning fans by appearing onstage with crutches.
McIntyre sat down for the rest of the show and joked to the audience: "You can search your souls. You're all entitled to your money back. Don't mind me. I am very rich. This is not the show you paid for - unless you enjoy casualty waiting rooms."
Afterwards, he added, "Work in Progress is what the show is called and I thought around the age of two I'd learned to walk. Unfortunately that's what needs work rather than the jokes..."
