Mike Tyson's wife hospitalised with stomach pains

Mike Tyson's wife was admitted to hospital in Chicago, Illinois on Thursday after she complained of agonising stomach pains.

The former boxing champion and his wife Lakiha 'Kiki' Spicer were in the city for Tyson's one-man show Undisputed Truth when she fell ill and required immediate medical attention.

A representative for Tyson tells TMZ.com the sports star took his wife to a hospital emergency room where she was admitted then released a short time later.

Spicer will return to the facility for a follow-up appointment but the cause of the condition is not thought to be serious.

The couple wed in 2009 and has two children together.
