Miley Cyrus ditches ring after dismissing split rumours

Miley Cyrus has fuelled rumours her planned wedding to Liam Hemsworth is off after she was photographed out and about without her engagement ring.

The former Hannah Montana star took to Twitter.com on Wednesday to address speculation on the state of her romance with the Australian hunk, writing, "I am so sick of La (Los Angeles). And sick of the lies that come with it. I didn't call off my wedding."

However, within hours of her terse message, speculation began to swirl again when she was snapped on the streets of LA without her ring.

Cyrus was seen pulling up her jacket to shield her face from photographers and clearly revealing the huge sparkler given to her by Hemsworth on their engagement last year was no longer on the third finger of her left hand.
