Police Find Missing Boy After Public Appeal

Police have found a nine-year-old boy who had been reported missing in Leeds.

Simon Kubalik had gone missing after he was seen at around 9pm on Friday near Hovingham Primary School, where he was attending a youth club.

Detective Inspector Mark Swift, of Leeds District CID, said police were "extremely concerned" as they made a public appeal for information on the boy's whereabouts.

Within hours of the appeal being made, police reported the boy had been found safe and well and was back home.
