Modern Family: Show's Home On Sale For $2.35m
The home of the fictional Dunphy family in the hit series Modern Family is up for sale for $2.35m (£1.41m).
The Los Angeles property has been the scene of many dramas involving Phil and Claire and their children Haley, Alex and Luke.
The exterior of the four-bedroom, 2,792 square foot house is often seen in the show, but interior scenes are filmed on a sound stage.
Estate agent Coldwell Banker Previews International described the home as a "classic two-storey, traditional home in a beautiful neighbourhood with mature trees in coveted Cheviot Hills".
Real estate agent Phil Dunphy, played by Ty Burrell, would know how to attract a star buyer who would be attracted by the mahogany hardwood floors and powder room.
The Wall Street Journal reports that its current owner, Paul Chiames, is paid a fee by ABC Studios each time the building is filmed, and the new owner would be entitled to the same agreement.
But Mr Chiames does have to put up with fans of the Emmy award-winning mockumentary knocking on his door asking for tours and photos.
Modern Family is shown on Sky 1 HD and available On Demand.
