Morrissey eyes retirement in two years

Veteran singer Morrissey is planning to retire in 2014 as he's getting too old for rock 'n' roll.
The Suedehead hitmaker launched his career as frontman of The Smiths in 1982 and has released almost 40 singles since going solo in 1988.
But the 53 year old has recently become concerned about some "distressing" signs of ageing and fears he'll turn into an elderly crooner if he doesn't walk away from the music industry soon.
Asked during an interview for JuiceOnline.com if he plans to retire at the age of 55, Morrissey says, "Yes. I am slightly shocked to have gone as far as I have. This is my 30th year, and I've aged a lot recently, which is bit distressing for me, as it must be for everyone. The body changes shape and there's nothing you can do about it. Do I continue as a modern day Andy Williams? I take one hour at a time."
what do you think?

We will miss you - your music has helped SO many people deal with depression, with lyrics that no-one else could have written. . . And music that will still be loved in a hundred years time. 'There is a light and it never goes out'. . . Maybe its time to concentrate on other projects ? Cant wait !

Andy Williams er no Andy Williams is a little pleasanter than Morrissey besides if people like you and think you are credible then you don't have a problem. The real reason is he has realised he will look very foolish ranting like a certain other Mancunian in his 50's it's not about his music at all.

I love Morrisey.Always have and no-one else moans so stylishly. But where the h**l did that picture come from. He looks like Susan Boyle ( not meant as a insult to her, it's just a strange photo).
