Devon: Woman Charged With Toddler's Murder

A 40-year-old woman has been charged with the murder of a toddler whose body was found at a home in Modbury.
Angela Vane has been charged with killing the two-year-old and will appear before Torquay Magistrates' Court on Monday.
Officers were called to a property in the Devon village at around 8.20am on Saturday after the child's body was found by a member of the public.
As well as carrying out house-to-house enquiries, police have also begun initial forensic work - although a post-mortem examination has yet to take place.
Police have said it will be carried out in the next few days by a Home Office pathologist or specialist paediatric pathologist.
In the meantime, detectives have re-appealed for information following the boy's death.
Devon and Cornwall Police say they want to hear from witnesses who may have seen a woman in Modbury in the early hours of yesterday morning.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen a woman walking between Modbury and Wrangaton between 2am and 8.15am on January 19," a force spokesman said.
"The woman in question is described as having fair, shoulder-length hair and wearing a black jacket, black jeans and green Wellington boots."

Ignore them Diane. If they feel the need to give a thumbs down based purely on not agreeing with your previous posts in other topics, then I say they are the ones who need to grow up!

I think it's fair enough you react, Diane. Far too many people here, I have noticed, bear grudges from previous debtes and vote down regardless of the topic of the current. 7 thumbs up now - I think balance is restored!

I have not given you a thumbs down Diane but perhaps the reason some have is not as a reaction to this or previous comments but because of your mention of god. Many people find it impossible to believe in such a diety when the world is filled with so many ills. I would however fight to protect your right to your beliefs.

It's no big secret that I don't particularly like you Diane. I find you ignorant, judgemental and hateful. However, like with anyone on here who I feel similarly about, I wouldn't vote you down for a comment like that.
