N-Dubz set for reunion within weeks
Hip-hop stars Dappy and Tulisa Contostavlos are set to reunite N-Dubz next month because they are "lonely" as solo artists.
The pair, who are cousins, put the group on a two-year hiatus last year and both have since enjoyed chart success in their own right.
As their popularity soared earlier this year, the duo had a public falling-out and didn't speak for months, sparking rumours the band was over for good - but now Constostavlos has let slip that N-Dubz will be reuniting as soon as possible after Dappy releases his debut solo album next month.
The singer met with the rapper earlier this month for a heart-to-heart chat and they both agreed to put the trio back together as they are lonely in their solo pursuits.
Contostavlos tells This Morning, "I don't like (being a solo artist) to this day. I would rather be back in a band. I was round Dappy's house the other day - we sat and I stayed over and we pretty much were inseparable. We were like brother and sister reunited for the whole night.
"He felt the same. We sat there telling each other how lonely we were as solo artists and we miss each other on stage and we miss each other in the studio and that we want to reunite after his first solo album."
Asked by host Phillip Schofield if the reunion is now "on the cards", Contostavlos replied, "Yeah, definitely."
