Nathan Followill debuts baby girl

Kings Of Leon rocker Nathan Followill has introduced his newborn daughter to the world by posting a photo on Twitter.com.

The drummer rang in the New Year as a first-time father after his singer wife, Jessie Baylin, gave birth to little Violet Marlowe on Boxing Day in Nashville, Tennessee.

On Friday, the baby girl made her Twitter debut in the form of a cute picture on her dad's page, showing her wearing a diaper and bundled up in a cosy blanket.

In the accompanying caption, Followill writes, "Hello world, my name is Violet, nice to meet you."

The couple wed in 2009.
