New mum Jessica Capshaw thanks fans following birth

Actress Jessica Capshaw has thanked fans for their well-wishes following the birth of her third child earlier this month.

The Grey's Anatomy star welcomed daughter Poppy last week, and has stayed off Twitter.com as she gets to know her newborn.

But the star took to the site on Tuesday to express her gratitude for followers' kind messages while her tot was fast asleep.

She writes, "It's only fitting that my 1st tweet since having my beautiful daughter should be in the middle of the night... I'm in love all over again!

"Thank you all for your insane kindness and congratulations since Poppy's birth. It's been lovely reading your tweets! You all are the best!"
