New mum Megan Fox hired nurse after sleepless nights

New mother Megan Fox ordered her husband to hire a nanny to help with their baby son because she feared their marriage would end in divorce if the sleepless nights continued.
The Transformers star became a mother in September to baby boy Noah, her first child with her longtime partner Brian Austin Green.
Fox initially didn't want to hire anyone to help during the first few months after her son's birth, but admits she gave in and asked for a night nurse when sleep deprivation began to kick in.
She tells U.S. TV host Jay Leno, "Having an infant is difficult. It's a lot of work and I didn't hire any help because I overestimated my own abilities. I had no idea how difficult babies could be, so Brian and I were exhausted. I said to Brian, 'We have to get a night nurse or we're going to get a divorce because someone's got to sleep in this house or we're going to kill each other."
The couple now has a nanny who helps with the baby two evenings a week.

Well isn't she the lucky one.

Yes agree with you both, not a parent but other families manage. Methinks someone not pulling their weight in the Fox/Austin Green house? I thought BAG had children from another relationship so not exactly a novice if so.

Admittedly, sleep deprivation is a nightmare, but imagine having such an unstable marriage that compromises couldn't be made to look after their own child to avoid divorce. Having said that, who in their position wouldn't hire help if they could? There's just no need to keep telling us...

I know, why didn't they just take turns, like the rest of us have t do? Although i have to admit that if money was no object Movvi. i would have been tempted too!

movvi
Exactly. Happily, my dog sleeps through the night and there'll be no need for a nanny!

My cats sleep about 22 hours a day! Had cats all my life but never seen anything like these two! x

Well welcome to the real WORLD. My wife got up every night to look after our daughter and then our son, yes she was tired but she never complained, threatened a divorce or demanded a Nanny. She even looked after our young children 24/7 and myself when I was diagnosed with cancer. Ms Fox has a beautiful son who obviously wants her stop being so selfish and start being a mother.

Bernadette Griffin
Exactly Lee, for better for worse, in sickness and in health. Hope life is getting better for you.

Louisa Gieldon
She's only got the nanny two evenings a week, just for a wee break. Hope you are well now Lee and your missus sounds brilliant!
