Olivia Munn mourns late pal

Actress Olivia Munn is in mourning for a friend who passed away following a battle with sickle cell anaemia.

The Magic Mike star took to Twitter.com on Sunday to pay her respects to Jason Nelson, who died aged 29 after years of suffering from the genetic blood disorder.

She writes, "Only 29, my friend @Jay6seven83 lost his battle w/sickle cell on Friday, Nov9. JAY: Thank you for being my friend.

"My thoughts and prayers go out to the family and loved ones of @Jay6Seven83. He had an amazing light that was put out way too soon."
