One Direction auctioning clothes for charity

The stars of One Direction are selling the shirts off their backs to boost ongoing fundraising efforts for Comic Relief.

One Direction's latest single - a cover version medley of Blondie's One Way Or Another and The Undertones' Teenage Kicks - has rocketed to the top of the charts in the U.K., and the boyband is donating the proceeds to Comic Relief.

Now the pop stars want to do even more for the cause by putting clothes they wore in the music video up for sale on auction website eBay.com.

Among the items up for grabs are Harry Styles' white Converse shoes, Zayn Malik's black and white Vans trucker cap and Niall Horan's Supra sneakers.

The singers are also selling T-shirts, jeans and boots they wore last month on their trip to Ghana, where they carried out charity work to promote Comic Relief.
