One Direction Go Global With New Concert Film
One Direction have announced that a second film based on their latest world tour is to be screened in cinemas around the world.
The pop stars were filmed as they performed at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy, in June.
One Direction: Where We Are also contains a 15-minute interview and behind-the-scenes footage.
It will be seen at more than 10,000 screenings across more than 50 territories on October 11 and 12.
It is said to be one of the biggest cinema events of its kind and is expected to enjoy the same box office success as the band's documentary This Is Us.
The Morgan Spurlock-directed 3D film grossed $68.5m (£40m) worldwide.
The group's Zayn Malik said: "The Where We Are tour is coming to a cinema near you for one weekend only."
Simon Cowell, who discovered the five stars on The X Factor in 2010, is an executive producer on the film.
Tickets for screenings go on sale from July 28.
The boy band are due to start their US tour next month.
At the weekend the singers were seen celebrating at the wedding of Louis Tomlinson's mother Johannah Poulston in Manchester.
