One Direction to be made into dolls

Boy band One Direction are to be immortalised in plastic - leading toymakers Hasbro are launching dolls based on the singers.
The What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers have taken the world by storm since forming on The X Factor in 2010, topping the charts on both sides of the Atlantic.
Now bosses at U.S. games giant Hasbro have inked a deal with the group to manufacture a range of miniature models in their likeness.
John Frascotti, the company's chief marketing officer, says, "In the short time since the group's debut, One Direction has captured the hearts of many young fans across the world. The band is poised for continued and increasing global success.
"We are excited about the opportunity to provide One Direction's very enthusiastic international fan base with a diverse product line that captures the essence of the band members."
Hasbro bosses are also planning to launch kids' games based on the hit band.

Shucks! I thought it was shades of 'Carry on Screaming'. They would be far more use dipped in Kenneth Williams' vat and shoved in a shop window......
