One Direction visit cancer-stricken fan

One Direction halted rehearsals for their U.S. tour last week to visit a cancer-stricken schoolgirl in London.

The What Makes You Beautiful hitmakers posed for pictures with eight-year-old Niamh Power in her hotel room and band member Harry Styles gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Power's mother Marie Power told the Daily Star, "She says she's never going to wash that cheek again. Niamh's smile was big enough to fill the room. Everyone in the band spent time talking to her."

A family friend of Power arranged the meeting through charity Rays Of Sunshine.
