Osbourne is now a U.S. citizen

British reality TV star Jack Osbourne has become a U.S. citizen.

The son of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and his wife Sharon was born in the U.K. but has lived Stateside for years, and on Tuesday Jack told his Twitter.com fans he is now an American.

In a series of posts, he writes, "Woah. I just became a US citizen. Don't worry England I'm still British. This is what OfficialOzzy texted me- 'So I guess u have become an American oh well just as long as you r happy I still love you dearly.'"

The news comes during an eventful time for Jack - his fiancee Lisa Stelly is due to give birth to their first child this week.
