Pacino gets Despicable for animated sequel

Al Pacino has signed on to replace fellow Oscar winner Javier Bardem as the villain in the Despicable Me sequel.

The Godfather star will join Steve Carell and Russell Brand, who are reprising their animated roles for Despicable Me 2.

Bridesmaids star Kristen Wiig and iCarly actress Miranda Cosgrove will also offer up their voices for supporting characters.
