Paddington Goes Grizzly For The Big Screen
Paddington fans have been given a first glimpse of the Peruvian bear in movie star mode.
The character has been pictured outside Buckingham Palace looking less cuddly than fans of the 1970s TV series would be used to.
However, Michael Bond's marmalade-loving creature retains his familiar duffel coat and floppy hat.
The CGI film - called Paddington - features the voice of Colin Firth as the bear who starts a new life in London.
Made by the producer of Harry Potter films and Gravity, the film sees him despatched from his native jungle by his aunt Lucy following an earthquake.
He is smuggled aboard a boat to England and named after the station where he is found.
His misadventures with his adopted Brown family see him trying to evade a sinister taxidermist who has her eye on him.
The film comes out on November 28.
