Pete Doherty injected heroin on movie set

Junkie rocker Pete Doherty shot up heroin on the set of Confession Of A Child Of The Century.

The Libertines frontman, who has battled drug addiction for almost 10 years, landed his debut movie role in director Sylvie Verheyde's big screen adaptation of Alfred de Musset's classic novel.

But when filming began the musician was still hooked on drugs and alleges Verheyde turned a blind eye when he shot up on location.

Doherty tells The Guardian, "It's poison but it's also medicine. When you're in that state, you can't function unless you have your fix... But I was so absorbed in the work, there wasn't a chance (to go to rehab)... I couldn't hide it from (Verheyde). She didn't really care. It was just a question of how quickly I can find a vein and then let's get on with it."

what do you think?

This little pimple makes the news again - again with old news. Well, he was an addict for "10 years", so of course he shot up on location during that time. And at home, presumably. And on jolliday etc.Where else would he do it?! Not really news then, is it?! Git.

In fact, this is the fattest-faced junkie I have ever seen! Are we sure it was heroin? I think he looks like he was injecting lard.
