Pippa Middleton embroiled in gun controversy

Catherine, Duchess Of Cambridge's sister is facing the possibility of arrest after a pal waved a gun at a photographer in France.

Pippa Middleton, who served as bridesmaid at her sibling's wedding to Prince William last April, was a passenger in a friend's car in Paris on Saturday, and the driver of the vehicle was caught on camera brandishing a weapon.

The Paris Judicial Police is said to be preparing to launch an investigation following the incident - and Middleton may be called in for questioning.

A source tells The Sun, "If the evidence points to her involvement, she will be prosecuted. Anybody involved in the illegal use of a handgun in public is liable to arrest and interrogation."

It is unknown if the gun was a fake firearm, but if it is found to be real, brandishing it in a public place is punishable by up to seven years' jail "for all parties involved". If the gun is a fake, the maximum prison term is two years.

what do you think?

Oh we all know she'll get away with it, there is no way they will arrest let alone convict the sister in law of Prince William. One rule for them, another for us.

Who was the friend in Paris? No comment as to whether he/she has any authority to carry/possess a gun. More information needed. But she doesn't look too happy does she.

So as usual the media gets hold of a non story and try to make it interesting. For people who didn't read it, pippa wasn't the one holding it. She was in the car at the time when her friend did it. So people saying Shes above the law should read the facts first.

James, perhaps you should read ALL the facts too. Clearly states that the punishment applies to "All parties involved"

some ppl are so sad. So she is the sister of the duchess of cambridge. Do you honestly think the French (who, by the way, have hated us since Henry V, coz theve never beaten us since) will even look to see if what they are saying is right? Its a chance for them to diss the Brits. Like who cares what they think?

there will always be a royal priviledge in England its in our blood. Yes Pippa will get away with it and it is trivial news reported in a trivial so called newspaper. However Marc H has his history wrong! Marc: try googling Joan of Arc and Calais/Mary 1st!
