Police CCTV Appeal Over 'Child Assault' Carer
Police have issued a CCTV image of a woman suspected of assaulting a disabled child in her care.
Scotland Yard released the picture to help track the woman, who was allegedly seen on CCTV hitting the four-year-old boy.
The suspect is thought to have provided false details to the care agency responsible for looking after the boy.
The alleged attack happened between March 8 and March 9 at the victim's home in Hackney, northeast London, and left the child with two bruises.
A Metropolitan Police spokesman said: "The child victim requires 24-hour care and is unable to communicate.
"His care at the time of the offence was provided by a care agency.
"The suspect provided her details to the care agency as Bola Bolatiwa, aged 34. It is now known that the suspect used the identity of another woman.
"The suspect is described as a black woman, approximately five feet tall and of heavy build."
Anyone with information is asked to contact Hackney's Child Abuse Investigation Team on 0208 2176556, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
