Police 'Very Concerned' For Missing Teenager

Police say they are "very concerned" for a 15-year-old boy who has not been seen for more than 48 hours.

Emmerson Thompson was reported missing at 2pm on Friday from his home in Stimpson Avenue, off the Wellingborough Road in Northampton.

A spokesman for Northamptonshire Police said: "We are becoming increasingly concerned for his welfare."

The youngster, who turns 16 in a few weeks' time, is white, about 5ft 5in tall, slim and has short hair.

He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, blue jeans and black Converse boots, and he was carrying a rucksack.

Detective Inspector Ali Farr, who is leading the search to locate the teenager, said: "We are very concerned about Emmerson who has not been seen now for more than two days.

"We would urge any member of the public who has information about Emmerson's wherebouts to contact police as soon as possible on 101."

Meanwhile, detectives in Ireland are appealing for information about a 12-year-old boy who has been missing for over a week.

Ned Connors Cash, who is from Blackrock in County Dublin, was last seen at home last Saturday.

He is described as 5ft 1in tall, of thin build, with blue eyes and fair hair.
