Police Identify Burnt Body Found In Car Park

A woman whose charred remains were discovered in a supermarket car park has been named by police.
Karen Archard, from Westcroft, Chippenham, was found at about 3am in the grounds of the town's Sainsbury's on Tuesday. Her body was discovered after the fire service put out a fire at the site, in Bath Road.
Her next of kin have been informed. It was announced earlier this week that police are not treating her death as suspicious.
Officers say they are continuing to establish the full circumstances of the incident.
Detective Inspector Matt Davey said: "We would like to thank all of the people who have come forward and to the community of Chippenham who have been supportive of this investigation.
"We are still seeking information from anyone who can help us put together Karen's last movements and we would ask you to get in touch with us if you think you can help."
Police initially wanted to speak to the owners of vehicles seen in the car park, and a couple who were walking through the area before Ms Archard died. All of these people have come forward and spoken to police.
They would still like to speak to a man who passed through the car park with a pedal cycle at 1.54am, as they attempt to piece together her last hours.
Anyone with information should call 101, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

Not suspicious - she set herself on fire under the rubbish - not your usual suicide method
