Police have launched an investigation after a Twitter.com user threatened to kill actress Emily Atack.
The Inbetweeners star was told she would be "sliced to bits" and "bleed to death" by a person on the site.
The user stated, "Emily its time 4 u to leave this world, ur last hours wnt be pleasant, but it will achieve the objective."
Atack, 22, replied, "Prison for you" - and subsequently alerted cops to the message.
However, the user declared: "Prison for me... death and heaven for you."
The threats subsequently disappeared from the account, but Bedfordshire Police confirmed it was investigating the messages, according to The Sun.
