Police officials still baffled by Tony Scott suicide

Police officials are still baffled as to why moviemaker Tony Scott jumped to his death from the Vincent Thomas Bridge in California in August as more findings about the tragedy are released.

Toxicology tests have revealed Scott died from multiple blunt-force injuries, while forensics experts also found therapeutic levels of sleeping medication Lunesta and the anti-depressant Mirtazapine in his system.

Drowning was also considered a factor, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The final coroner report is expected to be released in two weeks.

Investigators have revealed that interviews with Scott's family members and colleagues did not help them determine why Scott committed suicide.
