Prince Andrew daredevil climb

Prince Andrew is to abseil down Europe's tallest building to raise cash for charity.

The Duke of York, Queen Elizabeth II's second son and fourth in line to the throne, will descend from the 1,016-foot The Shard landmark in London on 3 September.

The prince will join a group of daredevils who have signed up to leap off the skyscraper's 87th floor to pull in £1 million for The Outward Bound Trust and the Royal Marines Charitable Fund Trust.

He tells the Daily Express newspaper, "I am delighted to lead the descent."
