Priscilla Presley to sing Elvis hit for pantomime performance
Elvis Presley's ex-wife Priscilla will perform one of The King's famous songs during her stint on the London stage in a traditional pantomime.
The former Dallas star is set to play the Wicked Queen in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs during the festive season at the New Wimbledon Theatre.
Presley, who admits she is not a proficient singer, has agreed to test out her voice during the shows and she will please fans of her legendary late husband by tackling one of his hits.
She tells the Evening Standard newspaper, "I was shying away from it (singing) a bit. But the more I was told about panto, I thought, 'We'll have fun with this'. The song - I'm not going to say what it is - does fit the part.
"My daughter (Lisa Marie) is a singer, her dad, obviously... but the world needs to know I'm not a singer. It's not serious, it's just having fun."
The show, which also stars Harry Potter actor Warwick Davis, runs from 7 December until 13 January.
