Professor Green backs railway safety campaign

Professor Green has thrown his support behind a campaign to raise awareness of the dangers of listening to music on headphones while using railway crossings.

The star has joined forces with bosses at Network Rail for the Lose Your Headphones safety drive after two people were killed this year as they used footpath crossings while listening to music.

He is urging people who use the crossings to remove their headphones so they are aware of any approaching trains.

Professor Green says, "I don't want anyone to end up on the tracks listening to one of mine. I never imagined asking people to stop listening to my music but this is about staying safe so, just for a minute, I want them to stop."
