Ralph Fiennes dumbfounded by young co-star's modern phrases
Ralph Fiennes had 'youth-speak' lessons from his younger co-star Perdita Weeks on the set of The Invisible Woman as he struggled to understand the modern expressions she used.
The English Patient actor, 50, is directing and starring in the new movie, about author Charles Dickens' love life, and was initially dumbfounded by Weeks' weird phrases on set.
The 27-year-old actress tells the Daily Mail, "I've taught him some trendy expressions likes 'totesamaze' and 'amazeballs', which teenagers say for something that's awesome. He didn't know what I was talking about at first and we had a laugh that he was past it, but now he is making everyone giggle on set by using these phrases himself."
