Renee Zellweger honours Carolina Herrera

Renee Zellweger stepped out in New York on Thursday to honour her favourite designer Carolina Herrera at the 2012 Fashion Group International Night Of Stars gala.

The Bridget Jones's Diary star has long worn Herrera's creations on the red carpet, and even tapped the Venezuelan guru to make her bridal gown for her short-lived marriage to country singer Kenny Chesney.

The actress showed her appreciation for Herrera by presenting her with the Superstar Award at the star-studded event, held at Manhattan's Cipriani Wall Street in the designer's honour.

Sex And The City star and style icon Sarah Jessica Parker also stepped onstage to present Sir Mick Jagger's model partner L'Wren Scott with the Lord and Taylor Oracle prize.

The Help actress Viola Davis, TV host Kelly Ripa and model Selita Ebanks also donned their designer gear to enjoy the bash.
