Rihanna nursing broken toe after bar accident

R&B star Rihanna is nursing a broken toe while on vacation in Europe.

The Umbrella hitmaker, who has been enjoying a luxury cruise around the Mediterranean, was serving up drinks for her pals on Sunday night when a bottle slipped out of her hand and crushed her foot.

Tweeting about the mishap on Monday, she wrote, "Bartending last night, dropped a bottle, broke it, my foot is still bleeding!!!"

The singer's assistant, Jennifer Rosales, has since revealed the injury is a little more serious than just a cut, and she has posted a photo of Rihanna's two bandaged toes on social media website Instagram alongside the caption, "It is not a vacation until someone breaks a toe!".

However, Rihanna is refusing to let the injury put a stop to her holiday plans - she headed to her next port of call in Cannes, France later on Monday and was pictured parasailing in Antibes on Tuesday.
