Robbie Williams eyeing knighthood

Cheeky Robbie Williams is hoping for a knighthood after landing a spot at Queen Elizabeth II's star-studded Diamond Jubilee concert.
The Take That singer will perform solo at the show at London's Buckingham Palace on 4 June, which is being held to mark the monarch's 60-year reign.
Angels hitmaker Williams joins a host of knighted music stars on the bill, including Sir Paul McCartney, Sir Elton John, Sir Tom Jones and Sir Cliff Richard - and he's hoping his appearance alongside them will prompt the monarch to bestow the same honour upon him.
He says, "I am excited to be in London for the celebrations and honoured to be part of this line-up. If this doesn't get me a knighthood, nothing will!"
A spokesperson for the concert organisers says, "Getting Robbie is a major catch. He's a huge star and massively popular with fans aged six to 60, and beyond."
what do you think?

You think it's easy? Travelling around the World being a rock star? That what you think? You think they aren't proficient singers and musicians, is that it? Watch a few videos. See how they live. You ever listened to what their lives actually involve? They live ... often ... a Hellish existence ... which ... we fleetingly ... observe ... before most of us just press a remote control button to ignore. Why shouldn't they get a knighthood? They do a lot, rock stars! Look at all their charitable causes work. They go into the wilderness to make videos for us, under harsh conditions. They suffer ... to make our TV programs better.

This would be a travisty and take the value of knighthoods away from the real knights!
