Robbie Williams invited Olympian Jessica Ennis to music video shoot

Pop singer Robbie Williams asked Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis to star in one of his music videos, but she turned him down to spend time with her family.

The 26-year-old track and field athlete was one of the country's brightest stars at the London Olympics last summer and Williams wanted her to appear alongside him in a promo.

However, Ennis was too busy to fit the shoot into her hectic schedule, telling the London Evening Standard newspaper, "It was straight after the Games when I was due to be going home.

"It would have been brilliant but it was a mad time and my family were the priority."
