Ronnie Wood hosts guitar masterclass

Rocker Ronnie Wood shared the secrets of his success with students at a school in Northampton on Wednesday by holding a musical masterclass.

The Rolling Stones star headed to Malcolm Arnold Academy to speak to pupils and hold a guitar-playing session at the facility.

Wood agreed to host the class more than a year ago and he tells the Northampton Herald & Post newspaper, "I wanted to come and spend the day with the school and it finally came to fruition."

It has been a busy week for the rocker - he became a grandfather again on Thursday when his son Jesse's girlfriend, DJ Fearne Cotton, gave birth to a baby boy named Rex.
