Russell Brand crashes into homeless man's cart

Comedian Russell Brand had a run-in with a homeless man on Thursday morning after accidentally driving into his shopping cart.

The funnyman was driving through Hollywood when he crashed his Range Rover into the vagrant's cart, sending his recyclable goods and belongings flying all over the road.

The man was not hurt, and photos obtained by TMZ.com show Brand helping to pick up the items and put them back in the cart.

Ironically, the Get Him to the Greek star has become known for his charitable gestures for the homeless of late - in September, he treated a group of displaced locals to breakfast in Los Angeles, while he invited another male into his apartment for a bath and a home-cooked meal.
